About UsWelcome to the Royal Burgh of Wick Community Council website. Here, you can find all of the latest news and information concerning your community and surrounding environment. We, as community councillors are the voice of your community and are here if you have any questions or queries. Contact us here or click here for more information.
The purpose of a community council is to represent their area to the local authority (The Highland Council). Community Councils facilitate a wide range of activities which promote the well-being of their communities. They bring local people together to help make things happen, and many Community Councils protect and promote the identity of their community. We as a community council sit just below The Highland Council, with our sub groups branched from us. |
