We meet on a regular monthly basis from January to December each year, usually with a break during summertime. Our meetings are held in the David Mowat Room at Wick Assembly Rooms which provides us with adequate space for each of us to sit down comfortably to discuss what has been going on in our town.
We follow an agenda which allows for other groups to participate and provide updates. These groups include:
Each Community Council is also represented by a Highland Councillor for their area, our delegated Councillor is also usually in attendance along with a representative from the local press which allows for us to have regular communication on different matters with the public. |
Our monthly meetings are open for public attendance. Everyone is more than welcome to come along and to hear about the different matters going in the community.
Maybe you have a question or a query you would like to raise or ask about? Please submit any of these to the Council Secretary prior to attending, You can do so by contacting us, here. We also provide a link for people to join our meetings virtually if people are unable to come along in person, however, we are currently experiencing some technical issues with this but we hope to have our virtual connection back in action very soon. |
